There is something special about spending time empowering ourselves and exploring our spirituality with others at the same time. The Women’s ministry is a monthly gathering where we support one another, explore our spiritual teaching and deepen our understanding together.
Through the use of inspired readings, workshops and experiences we connect in a more direct and deliberate way than what can be shared in Sunday services. This is a play place for women to be empowered and encouraged in a safe and compassionate way together.
This group meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Oneness Hall in Ellicott City.
Practicing the principles of Science of Mind allows us to become more proficient as we incorporate them more readily into our lives. Through increased practice, we experience these benefits as we become more conscious creators. Meditation is one of our primary modes of spiritual practice and this group provides the opportunity to explore and share meditative experiences with others.
After a brief targeted discussion of Ernest Holmes’ passages, participants use meditation to open to a deeper awareness of their Inner Truth. This consciousness allows us to make individualized realizations and take action to Live the Life we were meant to Live. Join us for this monthly journey together.
This group meets the Fourth Thursday of the month at Oneness Hall from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
Dinner with Dr. Holmes
The founder of the Science of Mind, Ernest Holmes, had a keen interest in radio and other forms of media during some of the most interesting times in modern American history. Join us as we listen to a brief presentation by our founder and discuss whatever comes up.
This is a potluck style event and we invite you to bring your favorite dish to share and your appetite!
This group meets the First Thursday of the month at Oneness Hall from 7:00pm to 8:30pm and is hosted by our Sr. Minister Rev. Brian Akers.
The Wisdom Circle is a metaphysical book club! Please join us for discussion and sharing as we navigate through spiritual books from authors like Ernest Holmes, Emma Curtis Hopkins, Deepak Chopra, Abraham Hicks, Eckhart Tolle, Roger teale, Michael Beckwith and countless others.
Anyone is welcome and the discussions do not demand that you have read the book in advance if you are joining for the first time.
This group meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at the Lorien Nursing Home in Columbia.
